At 2:00PM December 20th,2008 at the new Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park, representatives of Europe (made up of players of European decent) and the Americas (made up of players from North and South American decent) will lace up their boots in the 8th annual "Fallen Legends" Benefit Soccer Match.

The only thing that is on the line is bragging rights and pride.  Oh, I almost forgot, the golden boots trophy and the winners trophy.  The golden boots goes to the Man of the Match and the Winners Trophy is held by the winning team for the forthcoming year.

The Americas team is the current holder of the golden boot trophy(Robbie Paterson) and winners trophy.  You can be assured that the Americas team will be fielding a very eager and scrappy team in hopes of retaining the trophy.  There are rumors that the Europeans will be fielding their most talented team.  They want that trophy back!
