At 12:00PM December 26th,2009 (Boxing Day) at Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park, representatives of Europe (made up of players of European decent) and the World (made up of players from outside of Europe) will lace up their boots in the 9th annual "Fallen Legends" Benefit Soccer Match.

The only thing that is on the line is bragging rights and pride.  Oh, I almost forgot, the golden boots trophy and the winners trophy.  The golden boots goes to the Man of the Match and the Winners Trophy is held by the winning team for the forthcoming year.  (click image to visit website) Post Game Party Sponsor - Barley & Hops will offer a 20% discount to anyone who brings a donation item on the 26th of December.

The European team is the current holder of the winners trophy.  The goalie for the World team, Cameron Riley, holds the golden boot trophy for his brave efforts to keep the World team in the game.  You can be assured that the World team will be fielding a very eager and scrappy team in hopes of regaining the trophy.  There are rumors that the Europeans will be fielding their most talented team.  They want to keep the trophy!
